Located on Lamington Road, Modern Lunch Home is a small restaurant serving Veg and Non Veg menu. It specialises in sea food and the Pomfret Thali is a must try. While the service is quick, the taste can be slightly better. I enjoyed the Pomfret but it was a little salty and oily while the solkadhi could also be better. The Pomfret Thali costs ₹345 and includes 3 chapatis/roti, rice, solkadhi, fish gravy and a veg gravy. It’s a good meal for the stated price. The waiters are sweet and courteous and ask for your requirements. A visit to this place while you are in Mumbai ensuring you savour one of the best meals in South Mumbai.
