I am a Aware and Sainath regular, but recently tried Minal Khanawal. We ordered the Chicken Fry Thali and Anda Masala Thali. The food has a very homestyle, authentic taste and you can tell it’s cooked fresh. The chicken fry was well cooked and flavourful without being overly spicy. The best part of the chicken thali is the three rassa that come with it. Tambda, pandhara and alani, all three were really tasty and served unlimited. The kaleji fry was a surprise because chicken kaleji usually isn’t my favourite, but this one was done very well and I genuinely liked it. Chapatis were soft and fluffy, and the Indrayani rice paired nicely with the gravies. The anda masala was also well balanced. The place does get crowded during peak lunch and dinner hours, which says a lot about its popularity. Overall, a solid option if you like hearty, no-nonsense non-veg thalis.
