Had one of the best meals in Guhagar here. Lovely ancestral villa serving authentic local cuisine. It's a must try when in Guhagar. Do make sure to make an advanced booking as it fills up quickly Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The place is started by Ms. Meera a year back and the food cooked and served is pure homely veg food. The ambience is peaceful. The presentation is as per Maharashtrian tradition. Specific food items served at specific locations on a banana leaf as it has a very specific reason for doing so. Whole conversation with Ms. Meera came to know though the serving on banana leaf is sustainable but it takes effort and time for her to prepare the perfect banana leaf plate for the visitors. If you are interested in trying traditional Maharashtrian food then one of the better places to visit in Guhagar. Note, it is mandatory to do pre booking of meals well in advance. I have come across certain places in Guhagar where people book meals as advance as 15 days at certain places. This suggests you need to plan your trip and meals in advance. But you won't get disappointed if you do it in advance. Only suggestion to Ms. Meera is if possible she can make a provision of seating on the floor and dining in as it would be added to the authenticity of tradition. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good food makes memorable travel experience and especially when you are travelling with kids. Meera made it true for our trip. The best place to have homemade veg food served on banana leaf.
