My stay at Mayfair Tea Resort, Siliguri was an unforgettable journey through luxury, history, and nature. The property itself is a masterful transformation of a British-era heritage tea bungalow, built in an exquisite 16th-century Tudor style, complete with chequered black-and-white Italian marble floors, vintage furnishings, and centuries-old collectibles that whisper stories of the past . Walking through the high-ceilinged corridors, each adorned with paintings, chandeliers, and antique staircases, every corner invites you to dive into its history. The heritage furniture and stately marble structures evoke a grandeur that is both elegant and deeply evocative . Beyond its architectural charm, this resort melds luxurious hospitality with a profound connection to nature. The complimentary tea in the tea garden, served in the tranquil mornings and evenings, set against chirping birds—under clear skies, sun-dappled shade, and sweeping views, was pure magic. It’s rare to find such a harmonious blend of heritage, nature, and luxury that stays in your heart long after you leave. Culinary delights were equally memorable. Mornings began with a breathtaking breakfast in a beautifully open, tastefully decorated space, complete with live pancake and omelette counters. Evenings beckoned with indulgent pastries, cheesecake fresh from the bakery. Both lunch and dinner in the photogenic restaurant were not only delicious but refined in presentation, supported by the sincere attentiveness of the staff throughout. Other highlights included: A golf cart ride through the vast property, offering relaxation and exploration in equal measure. Refreshing mocktails at the poolside bar, perfect for unwinding beside the shimmering water. A visit to the temple within the premises, where morning incense and the soft chime of water droplets on metal plates created a serene, almost meditative ambiance. At night, distant “pearls of light” flickering from the surrounding mountainscape added a poetic touch to an already immersive experience. Overall, this stay felt like a soulful retreat—where every architectural detail, natural whisper, and gesture of service converged into something profoundly memorable. One of the best hotel in luxury segment. I have been to Mayfair Tea Resort Siliguri during "BENGAL TRAVEL MART". I closely observed services of the hotel along with product.
