This is a late post. I had been looking for some Maharashtrian Veg/Non-Veg restaurants near me and in fact in whole B’lore. I hardly found any authentic, spicy and tasty options. I accidentally searched and went to this place and I would say, I’ve finally ended my search. My tastebuds were craving exactly this taste and I can’t thank the owners enough. I went there with my family, had multiple veg and non veg options and all of us were happy. I went on to Thank the owner couple- She is from Nashik and He is from Gulbarga. Will definitely keep visiting this resto and recommend anyone to go try it once - Both Veg and Non Veg Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Chicken Sukka, Non Veg Thali Special Thali

While looking out for restaurants serving Maharashtrian cuisine, I got to know about Marathi katta. A quaint place on the bustling Neeladri Road. Not knowing what to expect, I visited this restaurant with my Mumbaikar friend. As we entered the restaurant, we were pleased to see that it's a rooftop restaurant with indoor as well as outdoor seating options. The interior is simple and neat. What I liked about the seating was the stoned long-seat sofa-like structure. The lighting is warm and the small space is utilised to perfection. To brighten the space they have used pretty planters. Overall, a cute space to dine with friends, family and girlfriend/boyfriend. Now talking about the food, we ordered kothambir wadi, Vada paav, paav bhaji and puran poli. Out of which, I liked puran poli and kothambir wadi the most. My Mumbaikar friend loved the kothambir wadi and reordered it right away to relish the taste that he used to enjoy in Mumbai. But he was deeply disappointed with the rest of the preparations. After that day, we once again visited the restaurant to have Sabudana khichdi as we were fasting. But the khichdi was not at all good. It was sticky and oily and we had to leave a considerable quality unfinished. So after two visits and a variety of orders, I am writing this review. I personally may not visit the restaurant again and look out for other options for Maharashtrian cuisine. But you can try it once to form your opinion. Enjoy! If you’re craving a taste of authentic Maharashtrian cuisine, look no further than this gem of a restaurant. I recently tried their Aamras Thali, and it was nothing short of a flavorful celebration. The highlight, of course, was the aamras – rich, silky, and bursting with the sweetness of ripe Alphonso mangoes. It was served chilled, perfectly complementing the spicy and savory elements on the plate.
