I recently visited a mini restaurant called Ghar Wala Zaika, located in the 4th Cross of Neeladri Nagar, Electronic City Phase 1. I ordered the Aloo Onion Paratha and Aloo Paratha, and I must say, both were absolutely delicious. The taste was authentic and truly satisfying. The restaurant is compact and best suited for small groups of 2 to 4 people. If you’re visiting with a larger group, it might feel a bit congested. The ambience and hygiene in the dining area were average, and I believe there’s room for improvement in that aspect. However, the kitchen was well-maintained, and the cook seemed very experienced and skilled. Ghar Wala Zaika specializes in Punjabi and Rajasthani cuisine, making it an ideal spot for North Indians in Bangalore who are craving homemade-style food. The pricing is very reasonable and budget-friendly—not expensive or overly fancy. One thing that really stood out was the friendly nature of the owner. He was polite and welcoming, and even suggested that I try their special Masala Maggi on my next visit. In conclusion, Ghar Wala Zaika truly lives up to its name, offering a homely taste and experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic North Indian flavors in Bangalore.
