While Marata Mess is popular for its affordable non‑veg menu and classic Marathi-style dishes, my visit was far from impressive. The restaurant felt unkempt — dining areas cluttered with boxes and wood debris, and the bathroom smelled stale and visibly ignored. Despite the place being crowded, staff took over 30 minutes just to take our order, and the mutton biryani rice felt undercooked. Though the pepper dry and fish fry had decent flavors, other dishes like kheema and mutton fry fell flat and seemed rushed. Additionally, the kitchen and wash areas appear poorly maintained, with signs of neglect that reduce confidence in food safety. Unless cleanliness and service improve, it’s hard to recommend this for anything more than a passable quick meal. Very bad place as parking not provided.neighbours object as parking is to be infront of itheir homes.think twice as parking space not available
