This place has been operational since 65 years. It's pure nostalgia. As soon as you enter you can notice the old school charm. The eatery is a piece of the real Mysuru. It's run by an elderly person and a helper, making the best pooris, masale doses, rice bath and idly. They serve afternoon lunch too, like bisibelebath and curd rice. The owner is a kind hearted soul, who is always calm and patient with his customers and generous in serving. He occasionally uses mutkadele for serving, which is rare since it's hard to procure. The entire place is beautiful for an early breakfast, he opens at 6 am and goes on till the evening. The best part about this place is that the owner keep a huge steel container outside for cows to come and graze, which shows how kind he is, even toward animals. Definitely a must try and regular visits too, to this home-hotel.
