This shop doesn’t even deserve a rating, it’s below that. I found dirt in my food, and when I confronted the waiter, instead of apologizing, he dismissed it, claimed it was a cinnamon stick, and even blamed me. His attitude was beyond rude. I had to call the manager, who was polite but clearly trying to play it safe. He denied it was dirt but admitted he didn’t know what it was. Absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable and never again. Amazing food and ambience!!! Staff are exhuberant and incredibly hospitable. Had a wonderful experience. Manjal to me is one of the best eating joints in Chennai, much better than a few of the so-called 5 star spots. Good options for non-veg, veg and sea food. Great place to bring friends, family, colleagues and more!
