Perfectly cooked mandi and tasty chicken have an appetizing taste. This restaurant offers food delivery for the convenience of its clients. The success of Mandify Restaurant ಮಂಡಿಫೈ ರೆಸ್ಟೋರೆಂಟ್ would be impossible without the attentive staff. Good service is something guests like here. When you enter this place, you feel the enjoyable atmosphere. This place scored 4.3 in the Google rating system.

When we walked into the restaurant, we were initially there with high hopes, seeing as it seemed like one of those quaint little places where the focus is on the food not the ambiance. But what we experienced was not just utter disappointment but frustration and regret. When we were seated, my attention was immediately drawn to the very low ceiling and slightly elevated floor for the tables for two. The ceiling was so low in fact that if I were to hop, I'd injure my head. Then came the service - if it can even be called that. The server came up to us, refused to look at me or even acknowledge me, and began speaking to my friend in Malayalam, did not even attempt to communicate with me. He also did not give us a menu and instead held it out open on a specific page, he did not let us flip the page or take time to decide. Once the Mandi arrived, I was confused - there were no dips, and no salad. We assumed this is just how it's served here, and began eating the very dry rice and chicken (Peri peri alfam), atleast my friend had a better experience on that end - having ordered the madfoon chicken mandi - which was semi gravy so atleast the chicken was granting moisture to the Sahara desert of a mandi I was experiencing. However, when we looked around, a table that was seated after us was given dips! Why were we then made to suffer? And I noticed they had cold drinks too, when all the server told us he had in beverages was lime juice and lime soda (which we regretted ordering - since it was so sweet it could have been used to Soak gulab jamun in, and it was served room temperature - which in Manipal is lukewarm to warm) I looked at the server and he came over, at which point I asked him for the menu, he happened to notice that we didn't have any dips and asked if we wanted some. I said yes, and the dips were soon upon us. The white dip, was Mayonnaise with so much water and no extra flavor that I thought I must be having a free government lunch, the red chutney was just lemon tomato water, and the "salad" was cabbage and stale (almost rotting) cucumber in what I could only guess was lemon water. The menu, never arrived. I had even mentioned to the server that I wanted to order some chicken starter to have with the rice. But no menu in sight. Not even when we had finished our meal and decided to leave, despite half the rice still in the serving plate, because I could no longer tolerate the dry rice. What did they expect me to eat my rice with? More rice?? The close quarters had also begun to get to us, with the sweat dripping down my face and drenching my tshirt, where I jokingly thought to myself that perhaps this sweat that's nearing my lips is the most moisture that I've had in this meal. We left, feeling suffocated, dissatisfied, and regretful for coming. The speed with which I walked out of that restaurant, and the wind that hit my face - was astonishing. True blissful relief was had here - once we had exited. I recommend this to everyone in Manipal, who thinks that Manipal is hot and humid, because atleast now by comparison the Manipal outdoors are a paradise. Even though the food tastes really good, we tried to contact Mandify and give our other, and it's not like they never gave order to this location but this time he started saying that we cannot come in that location, please order through Swiggy or zomato, I mean when my friends ordered from there it was fine, but I guess they only cater to old guests or regular customers, upon trying to order from Swiggy or Zomato it showed delivery partners in that location is busy, also when I contacted them of the issue, they said they'll see what they can do and call me back. Half an hour down the line, no contacts were made. I was really looking forward to ordering my Mandi from you guys but if you don't care about the customer then it's fine Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

It was a very pleasant place situated in Eshwar Nagar, Manipal above Hyderabadi Chai Point. I've had Mandi from a couple of places in Manipal and this has to be the best one so far. The Khawa (a type of Arabian tea) they provided at the end of the dinner was just a cherry on top.
