I visited this restaurant for lunch on 1st April and ordered for a Veg Thali. The food and the service by Prasath was exceptional. I will go to this place again.

Malgudi Restaurant at the old and famous Savera Hotel located in Mylapore, Chennai is a great place to dine with family, friends and colleagues. They serve South and North Indian as well as Continental, Mediterranean and Chinese vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. They have ensured their excellent quality still continues. We went there as a family and relished their Veg Thali consisting of Shorbet, Soup, Podi Idly, Bonda, Sambar, Rasam, Korma, Avial, Pulusur (two types), Biryani, Rice, Dosa, Roti, Curd, Sweets Pradhaman and Chandrakala. The place has an excellent and unique ambiance and decor. The staff are helpful and friendly. We were also entertained at the Table by Magician V Rao and a fortune teller at the entrance foretells the future. A fine dining experience.
