This was my second visit to Old Maharashtra Bhavan. Although my motive was to visit the new Maharashtra Sadan canteen on both occasions, the guards redirected me to the older one for reasons unknown to me, although they claim the canteen is open to all. The jhunka, Puran-poli, Malwani Chicken and Saoji Paneer were the highlights of the evening. Rest, the misal, bhakri, varli baingan (brinjal curry) were missable. The service is decent and the place is hygienic, at least by the looks of the seating area. Although the food there has given me slight tummy issues in the past, for some one missing Maharashtrian food or exploring the state cuisine, this is a decent beginner experience.
