All the visitors adore gorgeous Indian cuisine at this restaurant. Visit New Maharashtra Sadan for a break and taste nicely cooked vada, turkey and vada pav. It's time to try tasty curry dessert, jalebi and gulab jamun. In accordance with the guests' opinions, waiters serve delicious bitter. After a long working week, you can try great masala chai, lemonade or coffee.
This place is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Adequate prices are something that should be said about this spot. This was my second visit to Old Maharashtra Bhavan. Although my motive was to visit the new Maharashtra Sadan canteen on both occasions, the guards redirected me to the older one for reasons unknown to me, although they claim the canteen is open to all. The jhunka, Puran-poli, Malwani Chicken and Saoji Paneer were the highlights of the evening. Rest, the misal, bhakri, varli baingan (brinjal curry) were missable. The service is decent and the place is hygienic, at least by the looks of the seating area. Although the food there has given me slight tummy issues in the past, for some one missing Maharashtrian food or exploring the state cuisine, this is a decent beginner experience.
