During our recent Sunday lunch at Magnolia 6 Bar, we sampled a variety of dishes that showcased a mix of flavorful highs and a few misses. We began with three starters: Stuffed Tangdi Kebab, Murgh Lasooni Kebab, and Prawn Checha. The service was prompt, with starters arriving within approximately 15 minutes. The Stuffed Tangdi Kebab stood out with its succulent texture and well-balanced spices, while the Murgh Lasooni Kebab was equally enjoyable, offering a rich garlic-infused flavor and tender meat. However, the Prawn Checha was underwhelming. The prawn-to-masala ratio was disappointing, with the dish appearing to be largely composed of spiced gravy and minimal prawn content. The overall flavor was dominated by the masala, with little contribution from the seafood itself. For the main course, we ordered Mutton Kasa, Chicken Kasa, Garlic Naan, Dal Fry, and Steamed Rice. These dishes were satisfying and well-prepared. The meat in both the mutton and chicken dishes was cooked to tenderness, and the gravies were robust and aromatic. The Garlic Naan complemented the mains perfectly, while the Dal Fry added a comforting touch to the meal. The restaurant ambience was pleasant and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate an eight-member group. We also tried the Cosmopolitan cocktail, which was well-balanced and refreshing, rounding off the meal on a good note. Overall Verdict: A great spot for flavorful North Indian cuisine and group dining. While the seafood dish could use improvement, the rest of the menu and ambience made for a satisfying experience.
