This hotel was a great value. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main town, and we enjoyed the rooftop pool. Our room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist. we would definitely return."

extremely disappointing. I had stayed at Madpackers Udaipur a few months ago and had an amazing experience back then, which is why I chose to stay again this time on August 18, 2025. Unfortunately, this recent visit was extremely disappointing. The entire staff has changed, including the cook, and the service quality has dropped drastically. The staff member named Apoorva was very rude and unprofessional. We ordered food at the hostel, but what was served was clearly spoiled and smelled bad. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the host Apoorva kept arguing continuously and refused to accept that the food was unhygienic. I even told them I had no problem paying for the food, but they should at least accept their mistake. Sadly, there was no professionalism, no courtesy, and no concern for guests’ well-being. This hostel has gone from being amazing to absolutely terrible. Poor hygiene, spoiled food, rude staff, and no sense of responsibility. Honestly, this was one of the worst hostel experiences I’ve ever had, and I strongly recommend that travelers avoid this property until serious changes are made. Service: 1
