We chose Madhav Hotel Somnath based on its reviews, but sadly, it fell short of expectations for me but my parents do liked. While the crowd and 10-minute wait were manageable, the experience was let down by poor waiter hygiene (untidy appearance, unkempt hands), which made me uncomfortable. The limited Gujarati thali was overly sweet for our taste, and as someone inclined toward Punjabi or savory dishes, the lack of variety was a letdown. The "special chaas" was decent, and I recommend to try it. Overall, it felt like a mediocre restaurant riding on its reputation. If you’re not a fan of sugary Gujarati fare or prioritize hygiene, you might want to skip this. For me, it was just average and not worth the hype.
