The Mad Over Donuts – Phoenix Marketcity outlet located on the lower ground floor of Phoenix Marketcity has been consistently disappointing every time we have visited. Unlike other MOD branches that maintain good hygiene and service standards, this particular outlet feels completely mismanaged. To begin with, there is absolutely no proper seating space. Customers have to awkwardly stand around and wait for someone to finish so they can grab a chair as soon as it becomes available. For a place serving desserts and beverages, where people like to sit comfortably for at least a few minutes, this becomes a very frustrating experience. The bigger issue, however, is cleanliness. The tables are often dirty, trays are left uncleared, and there are flies hovering around, which makes the environment feel highly unhygienic. For a food outlet, especially one serving sweet items that attract insects easily, hygiene should be top priority — but here, it is clearly neglected. Another recurring problem is with billing transparency, especially when paying by cash. Many times, the staff does not provide a printed bill. And when questioned, they casually say, “The bill is punched, just not printed.” This becomes even more problematic because they also deny giving the free donut that is applicable only when you present a bill. This feels unfair and misleading. Overall, this MOD branch seriously needs better management, proper cleanliness, and transparent billing practices. Until then, it’s far from the experience one expects from a brand known for its quality and customer service. Staff does not care how the donuts are served. Very unorganised, specially the lady who does the billing. My order was dine in but order was prepared following take away process and cold donuts. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,800–2,000
