We took Litti Chokha at this push cart kiosk in front of Thane's Kashinath Ghanekar Hall in January 2022. The couple who run it were about to close when we ordered one Litti with Sattu and another order of four regular Littis. We got our food in paper plates and ordered Chaas. The owners engaged us with how they make the food and how a Mumbai Mirror article had made them famous. Till 2020 and the COVID-19 they were very popular and ran out of their stock by 5 pm in the evening. Litti at Maa Durga is dry and goes well with the potato brinjal Chokha. One order if sixty rupees is a good meal complemented by the chaas at fifteen rupees. The owners are very helpful and courteous.
