My friend and I stopped by Minyu Chinese Restaurant recently with a specific mission: my friend was dealing with a sore throat and was craving some spicy, comforting soup to help soothe it. The Soup Experience We originally ordered the Thai Soup and the Mutton Soup. Interestingly, due to a slight mix-up at the start, we were first served the Manchow Soup. The staff quickly realized the error and brought out our original Thai and Mutton orders shortly after. Ultimately, this turned out to be a "happy accident": Thai Soup: Fragrant and perfectly spiced. Mutton Soup: Hearty, rich, and exactly what my friend needed for his throat. Manchow Soup: A classic done right, with great depth of flavor. Service & Honesty What really stood out—aside from the delicious food—was the service. The staff was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu to find the right dishes for my friend's condition. Furthermore, despite serving us three different soups, the restaurant showed great integrity by only charging us for the two items we originally ordered. It’s rare to find that level of honesty and customer care. The Verdict All three soups were fantastic. If you’re looking for authentic flavors and a staff that genuinely cares about your experience, Minyu is a must-visit. We left feeling much better than when we walked in!
