Visit this restaurant for a break and degust nicely cooked pizza salads, chicken tenders and pasta. Try good chocolate waffles and tasty jalebi. The staff is knowledgeable that's what makes 63 Degrees Modern Regional Buffet so good. Visitors mention that the service is professional here. From the guests' point of view, prices are low. Nice to visit this place for a buffet lunch but better to reserve a table because it is a rush during peak hours. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch

This will take sometime. Grab something to drink and sit comfortably while I take you thru a visual extravaganza of the things that happened from we stepping into the restaurant. Glad that we reached as soon as they opened at 7 PM. I say this because, this is an unconventional buffet wherein, you need to go around and help yourself with starters. Not an issue though. The place looks crisp and clean and ambience is to be appreciated. But, I do not wish to be there in noons or after 9 PM, because we entered at 7 PM and left at 9:30 PM. We were a group of 8 adults i.e, 4 couples. And, we did enjoy and had fun. Service is top notch by Souvick. Need to appreciate this fella here because he was prompt and quickly steered the bearers to fill the plates as soon as there was some empty space found in our plates. The number 63 in the hotel name signifies the cuisines of seafood dishes that they serve in their establishment. Hmm, I doubt that. Simple Mustard Fish and Tawa Prawn kept me happy. And these are to be custom made and you will see them in a separate counter where you need to go and wait till it's made. Aaand, if you came in after 8:30 or 9 PM, the wait might stretch into 20-25 minutes. So, plan ahead. Non-vegetarians will have all the fun in this place. Loads of options to choose from and just a few above vegetarians. And conventional NV eaters like me might not find some items appealing and appeasing. So, being a cuisine compliant fella, I just stick to my modus operandi. Eat mutton sheek kebab, fish and prawns as much as possible. That's my mantra and I stick to it whenever I go to buffets. This time was no exception and I loved what I ate. I generally skip main course because, I have come across several bad-in-the-mouth experiences from various other establishments and so, I just prefer to have loads of starters and loads of drinks and well, you know, desserts. But, this time, the Chicken Biryani and Chittimuthyala Military style donne biriyani didn't let me leave them in their vessels and within a flash of an eye, they appeared on my plate along with the Nethi Vankaya koora and the salan. We preferred Virgin Mojito and the first 4 were right up to the mark. Tasty and had that right punch of soda gas. Yummy and 5 stars. Then, we repeated the order for 3 more and oh boy, they disappointed us. But the drinks team took their own sweet time and tried to perfect them, but failed one more time. Had to send back the second time as well and on the third run, they discarded the earlier ones and made the fresh ones. Bill time. This is where that ONE STAR was taken off of the rating. I do not understand why the bill collecting captain need to stand behind us and check everything what I am doing while I am checking which card to use and avail more discount. We had booked the 8 eats thru Swiggy app and we were to receive 10% discount. And, as far as my sis remembers, she had seen in some app that she will get 250 rupees off when used thru swiggy to pay a hotel bill. So, her thought was, 10% thru Swiggy and 250 rupees off thru her credit card. But, this drinks guy(he brought the card swiping machine and collected bill payment from us) was in such a hurry that he was instructing her what to do and what not to do. So, in the end, out of he breathing on her neck, she got tensed and just availed 250 rupees off, thereby, foregoing the 10% discount. when paying 13000 bill, a 1500 saved can turn into a TIP or a good word spread in her circle. She works in a Corporate as a Senior HR, so you can imagine the network they have. So, your frustration over the job you were meant to do, and displaying it on the paying customers, will adversely affect when her teams sideline 63 Degrees Modern Regional Buffet as a whole. Souvick took care of us. But do not force the customer to review the hotel right infront of you. All in all, thanks for reading. Good food, good vibes and courteous staff, that's all we ask for on a fine evening. Or did we ask which we are not entitled to? Oh They have valet parking. Have fun my fellow Earthlings.
