After watching Lakshmana Museum Of Arts, have a meal at Luxer Hotel. You will enjoy its food, especially tasty lebanese chicken, grilled chicken and almond soup. Order good baklava.
It's easy to find this restaurant due to its great location. The terrific staff meets you at Luxer Hotel all year round. Fabulous service is something guests appreciate here. You may be impressed with reasonable prices at this place. The lovely decor and exotic ambiance let clients feel relaxed here. This spot has got Google 4 according to the guests' opinions.

Food was so good and tasty...
I ordered Lebanon grilled chicken(399) was really mouth melting....

I bookmarked Luxer right after a friend raved about this place. When I had to meet some friends near city center, I chose this place. 5 of us met here on a Sunday evening for dinner !
It's right opposite to the exit gate of City center. Easy to spot. You open the door and a beautiful cage candle holder welcomes you. The whole place looks compartmentalized. Some tables having ample spacing and some having minimal spacing. One side having table seating and the other side having sofa seating. Quite non-uniform arrangement. They also have a secluded corner for big groups. Lighting is pretty low. I've been to dimly lit places but here, it's almost dark. Apart from the lighting, it's all fine. Special mention to the Superb Arabian music they play.
Soon after we got seated, they served us complimentary hummus and pita. It was pretty tasty. Now coming to our orders:
* Creamy almond soup: We asked for 1 by 2. The soup was served in a glass which was half-filed. Creamy, yes. Tasty, no. It was bland.
* Veg Mezze Platter : Can't really name the items served in the platter but none of them tasted good. None. The vegetarians didn't like it one bit.
* Non-veg platter: It had prawns, chicken and a couple more items. After the reactions from veg platter, we thought atleast non-veg would be better but no, even the non-veg platter was a disappointment! The chicken was little better among all the other items.
After having such experience with the starters, we didn't wanna order any further. We paid the bill and went to another place for dinner.
Service was friendly. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu. Food was served quick.
1110 bucks for two platters and a soup, quite reasonable.
Not sure if the food was really bad or it didn't suit our taste buds but all 5 of us disliked what we ate. Not going back again.
