Come here for a drink after a long walk around Semmozhi Poonga. Do not delay your visit – seriously, Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisines are waiting for you. At this restaurant, guests can have tasty hummus and nicely cooked falafels.

First of all, 5 stars for the restaurant's ethics - Vegan and Environment-friendly. To describe their food in just one word, would be "ADDICTION"; I'm not even exaggerating. The packaging is completely biodegradable, which we don't get to see in many places. ??

Everything on their menu is worth giving a shot, to find out what you like the best. I'm a die hard fan of the 'Classic Falafel Hummus Plate'. ?

I had a Tangy (Falafels with hummus, vegetables, sauce) and a complimentary pita bread that came along with it. It was the most delicious meal I have eaten in years! Thanks to the amazing owner who arranged it for me :)

Tamu Tamu is one of the few places that have maintained excellent quality consistently. The portion sizes are generous. We usually go for the tangy hummus platter and we are always surprised with the veggies usually local and seasonal ones like Amla, raw mango, starfruit. The toppings are bursting with flavour. The falafel is crispy and soft, never oily. The pita pocket is good for delivery if you will have it immediately or it can get soggy. The protein bowl is our new favourite with the addition of seeds on top. And of course, Shiva is a delight to talk to!
