Lumuma Cafe in Varkala absolutely deserves a 5-star rating. The location is stunning. The restaurant sits on the cliff on one side with a vast stretch of beach and sea on the other. It’s a beautiful place to sit, relax, and enjoy a meal with a view. Finding a fully vegan restaurant in the middle of Kerala felt like discovering an oasis in the desert. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the taste and quality made it completely worth it. In fact, we enjoyed the food so much that we made it a point to eat here every single day of our stay. Sweet potato fries is a must try. Gluten free and sugar free dessert are also great options. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Varkala!

Smoothies and coffee were really good. But the cakes/bakes were quite bad! Dry and tasteless. And no one seemed bothered about feedback.
