I visited Loafer's Cafe after a long time but the food was a big disappointment. The items I ordered had been too much indianized and devoid of continental flavour. After the meal I felt that I had consumed one full can of tomatoes. I went for lunch and ordered chicken parmigiana and their supreme pizza. The chicken parmigiana was mentioned as baked chicken with parmesan, but what was served was a crumb fried oily chicken which looked no more than a batter fried chicken. It was nicely camouflaged under what looked like a tiranga sauce of red, orange and green which was too overwhelming in both taste and appearance. The pizza which was supposed to be having two types of chicken had a load of marinara on which few pieces of chicken and sausage sparsely scattered. I shared the same feedback at the restaurant as well. They cannot write baked chicken and serve crumb fried. Ambience wise it's quite good and they have an al fresco arrangement too with an overlooking lawn which is unique. They simply need to get a proper continental chef who will not try to infuse fusion!
