Ordered XXL chicken kurchan roll after being refused the chicken samosa (late hours) , was a really huge roll as the name suggested, orangish in color , very very juicy with thick egg layering inside. Very heavy roll and tasted good.
For main course had Amritsari tawa murgh, tandoori roti and ajwani parantha. What a tatse! Something different for me, masaledad and really delicious. The breads were soft and fresh.
The packaging was superb and they gave some complementary tea bag hanging in the bag. Loved the experience.
1. Butter Chicken – The chicken was beautifully cooked and the gravy was very delicious and flavourful.
2. Punjabi Mutton Curry – Quite a different variation from the normal mutton curry. The mutton was beautifully cooked and was very soft and succulent.
3. Soya Keema Mushroom – Tried something like this for the first time and loved it. Very different from the regular mutter mushroom that is available everywhere. Mushroom lovers should definitely give this dish a try.
4. Sarson Ka Saag – I was kind of disappointed with this dish. The saag was well cooked but flavour wise it was lacking the punch.
5. Dal Makhani – Absolutely fantastic. Wonderfully rich and creamy this was.
6. Assorted Kebabs – This included Ajwani Paneer Tikka, Tangri chicken, seekh kebab and Malai chicken tikka. All the kebabs were really well prepared but seekh kebab was definitely my favourite.
7. Nafeesi Chicken Biryani – The biryani itself was very aromatic, the quality of rice used was really good. And lastly the chicken was very nicely cooked and delicious.
8. Tandoori Roti – The roti in general was well cooked.
My verdict, leaping caravan can definitely be given a try for some really beautifully executed dishes which are amazingly flavourful.
