Visited here some months ago and was utterly disappointed. We waited for 45 minutes or more to have a simple order server. What made the wait excruciating was the fact that it was dinner time and there was no rush at this place. The service, food, ambience and experience were all absolutely pedestrian.

I checked in this place reading the name. The name might suggest you a well maintained "theka", but it's more of a restaurant. I guess it is named as Theka for the sake of hkv's prestige, that's what hkv is all about.. Lol

Located on the left side after entering hauz khas village. The place had music being played, but still it was very quiet, not really a happening place.

Ambience was kind of average. The place was full of lights, so was not able to give the feel which should be there for drinkers.

The steward were kind of lazy, and not attentive.

Coming to food, ordered Mutton Rogan Josh and a drink. The dish missed the basic spices, and the chapati was not fresh. Though it was replaced upon asking, but the later one was even bad. Presentation was also average.

Overall i did not find this place as per hkv standards, and was a disappointment.

A small place on the left side while entering hkv , Visited this place yesterday only , obviously as the name says liquor prices are low , not very low but yes low , to recover on other part , they have increased the prices of food .

What i dont appreciate and recommend theka people to change is -

We ordered 750 ml of absolute
1. Authenticity - you should pour from the bottle in front of the customer
2. Measurement for better clarity.
3. Giving coke and sprite in shaadi type glasses is too cheap .

No doubt , food was really nice and thats worth a praise .

Live bad was really nice.

To all reviewers and beer lovers , please note , dont go on the prices of domestic beer as they only have imported available . Do make a call before or ask before grabbing a seat.

Overall , can be better .
