These are neither outdated nor elitist but they are respectful, intentional, and rooted in creating a hospitable, calm, and welcoming environment for all our guests. This includes politely discouraging the use of speakerphones or loud virtual calls in a confined space, out of consideration for others. This is a common code of conduct in cafés worldwide, including those where business and casual clientele coexist.To demean our establishment as a “small roadside café” is not only factually incorrect but legally questionable in its intent. It does say a lot about you as an individual. Our premises, services, and offerings are clearly stated, and our guest experience is curated with precision. The tone and language used in your review border on defamation, and we urge you to reflect on the professional responsibility that comes with being part of the same industry.While constructive criticism is always welcome, public humiliation or misrepresentation, especially from a peer—demonstrates poor ethical judgment and undermines the mutual respect our profession is built on.We expect better from our community and sincerely hope that moving forward, reviews especially from industry insiders remain fair, factual, and framed with integrity.
