So there was a Restraunt within hotel Atithi "Le Boulevard"
I ordered the Lababdar Paneer along with the Lachcha Parantha.
° The Lachcha Parantha was surely soft and fresh. Althought it got a little rubbery after a little time. But I guess it got cold with time.
° The Lababdar Paneer was really tasty. The paneer itself was hard in texture. So not the ideal texture.
° It was something unique. Each piece of paneer in the dish Two layers of paneer with one layer of sauted and mashed vegetables in between.
° The gravy was really oily and creamy in texture. It was really heavy.
° The overall dish was really spicy. It had certain different flavours than the usual labadar paneer we are used too.
So overall the dish was very heavy and flavourful. Although the paneer was a bit hard but it was really oily, flavourful and spicy.

So had dinner again at the restraunt within the hotel I stayed at "Le Boulevard".
This time around I wanted to order something that excites me as soon as I see it on the menu.
So I ordered "Ratatouille". Yes you read it right RATATOULLIE. Ratatouille is a French Provençal stewed vegetable dish, originating in Nice, and sometimes referred to as ratatouille niçoise. (Wiki definition of the dish). As I was in Puducherry(The only place in India with French influence). I had to try out this french dish.
° The presentation of the dish was not as expected. I expected what I saw about ratatouille in the famous movie and also what I saw online about the dish. So that part was a let down.
° I guess the Ratatouille is supposed to have big round pieces of exotic vegetables. But this had small chopped pieces. So that part also made me a bit skeptical about the authenticity of the dish.
° The overall texture was creamy and cheesy. The texture of the gravy was kind of like white sauce with cream and cheese in it.
° Quantity was definitely generous. Maybe a little too generous. Serves 2 easily. But you might get tired of eating the dish after the first serving.
° All kinds of exotic vegtables were sauted into the dish like bell peppers, brocolli, olives, A LOT OF BEANS etc.
To sum up, This dish was really generous in quantity. The taste was really good. The texture was thick and seemed of good quality but it was not what I expected when I read Ratatouille in the menu.

So this place was quite a surprise for me. I mean mostly I am sceptical about places to eat within the hotel I am staying. But this place did surprise me in a good way
