Seeing Varadaraja Perumal Temple requires time and efforts, so if you feel hungry after, visit this restaurant for a tasty meal. The menu of Chinese cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is gorgeous here. But google users rated RKN Hotel and it didn't achieve a high rating.

Worst hotel ever. The receptionist showed us 4 rooms and all of them were not cleaned, the 5th one luckily was cleaned. Secondly, their washroom had a smell of public toilet, and I’m talking about the washroom which is in the room. Thirdly, they opened window to place the water pipe from AC and when we put it inside and closed the window, water leaked on the floor. Dirty towels, mosquitoes and no kettle, nor shower gel, etc. Only 2 rupees worth Medimix soap. It’s better to sleep on the road rather than in this hotel.

Good Budget Stay in Prime Location I had a comfortable stay at RKN Hotel, Puducherry. For the price, it’s a great deal – clean rooms, working amenities, and a responsive staff. The location is easily accessible to the beach, especially if you're traveling with your own vehicle. The hotel has a bar, which may be a little concerning for families, but for solo travelers or groups of friends, it's a good option. Food service is available and tasted decent, and there's sufficient parking space. Rooms are neat, and everything including AC, TV, and hot water was working fine. One small issue – rooms on the 1st floor can be noisy due to the AC outdoor units being placed near the windows. I mentioned this to the receptionist, and he immediately shifted me to a room on the 3rd floor, which was quiet and comfortable. Lift is available, making it convenient for all ages. Overall, a value-for-money stay in a central part of the city.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the RKN Hotel, and I must warn others to avoid this establishment at all costs. The service was abysmal, with staff seemingly uninterested in addressing even the most basic requests. During my stay, I encountered a particularly frustrating experience. As I was preparing for work in the morning, I realized that my shirt was badly wrinkled. I requested an iron from the staff, but was shocked when they refused, citing a flimsy excuse that someone in another room had broken the iron. This lack of attention to detail and unwillingness to provide basic amenities was a recurring theme throughout my stay. The room was poorly stocked with toiletries, and the overall hygiene standards were alarmingly low. I strongly advise against staying at the RKN Hotel. The subpar service, uncleanliness, and lack of basic amenities make for a thoroughly unpleasant experience. It's clear that the management is not committed to providing even the most basic levels of service and comfort. Rating: 1/5 stars Recommendation: Avoid this hotel at all costs."
