RKN Hotel is pretty near Varadaraja Perumal Temple. Many visitors say that the staff is competent at this restaurant. Cool service is something that guests would like to improve here. RKN Hotel got negative comments because of the quiet atmosphere. Google users rated this place and it didn't receive a high rating.

Okay..the rooms are really really good however the service and location isn't. What I mean service is.. we had the entire night set of drunk men in front of the room door ..and nobody from the hotel stopped them And the hotel rooms are really good. So if someone seeks feeling of safety or going with Family might not find the place comfortable, for those who care less..worth the money. Service: 2

Doesn't worth for the money spent, bed is in worst condition. Very old building. Doesn't match the pictures shown. Bathroom is not so clean. Very old towel kept. Never recommend for family Service: 1

Horrible Experience at RKN Hotel - Highly Disappointing and Misleading I recently stayed at RKN Hotel, and I must say it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in any hotel. We were charged an exorbitant price of ₹10,000, which is absolutely unjustifiable given the conditions of this establishment. The photos we saw online were completely misleading, giving the impression of a decent hotel, but what we encountered was far from it. First and foremost, there was no parking available, despite the hotel claiming otherwise. We were left scrambling to find a place for our vehicle, adding stress to our arrival. Once inside, the reality of the hotel’s condition hit us. The rooms were old, unhygienic, and poorly maintained. It’s clear that the management has done nothing to upgrade or even properly clean the premises. The room we stayed in had thick cobwebs, which they tried to hide behind curtains. The level of filth was shocking and not something you expect at this price point. Adding to the discomfort, there was no buffet offered, although it was advertised. Breakfast was supposed to be included in the package, but what we received was substandard at best. The lack of options, poor food quality, and dirty serving conditions made it impossible to enjoy even a simple meal. One of the most concerning aspects was that the hotel has a bar located on the rooftop. As a result, the staircases reeked of alcohol, making it extremely unpleasant, especially for families. The odor of liquor in common areas created an uncomfortable atmosphere that is definitely not family-friendly. The overall vibe felt more like a third-rate lodge than a hotel that charges premium prices. The room itself was dirty and dated. The bedding and furniture were worn out, and cleanliness was clearly not a priority. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the bathrooms were equally unhygienic, with mold and grime visible in many areas. Given the lack of attention to cleanliness, I can’t imagine how this place is allowed to operate. As for the staff, their attitude was extremely disappointing. Despite raising multiple complaints about the conditions, there was no proper response or apology. In fact, the staff were rude and showed no courtesy or hospitality. Basic manners like acknowledging a guest’s concerns or offering a solution seemed beyond their capability. It’s clear that customer service is not something this hotel cares about. Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at RKN Hotel. It is not a hotel by any standard; it’s more like a third-grade lodge masquerading as a decent place to stay. The misleading photos, poor service, and appalling conditions make it a complete waste of money. If you’re traveling with family or looking for a decent place to stay, avoid this hotel at all costs. There are far better options in the area that offer genuine hospitality and clean environments for much less. In summary, the RKN Hotel was an absolute disaster and a total rip-off. I cannot emphasize enough how bad this experience was and how much regret we have for choosing this place. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.
