Worst dining experience at Lazeez (Chowringhee Road, near Elgin/Bhawanipore). For a so-called “prestigious old restaurant,” the staff acted like they were doing us a favor just by standing there – zero attentiveness, zero interest in service. Starters were barely okay, but the curries? Absolute disaster. We ordered one dish, it was inedible. Asked for a replacement – shocker, it tasted EXACTLY the same. Tried another dish thinking maybe it’s just one bad recipe – nope. Same bland, oily, tasteless mess again. We literally couldn’t finish the food. Paid the bill and walked out hungry, angry, and cheated. This place is living only on its “old name,” not on quality. If you want to waste your money and appetite, by all means, visit Lazeez.
