Title: Disappointing Experience at Lakshmi Bakery Date: [25/04/2024] Location: Lakshmi Bakery,Kollam As I stepped into Lakshmi Bakery, I was greeted by the aroma of freshly baked goods and the promise of a satisfying meal. Eager to quench my thirst and satisfy my hunger, I ordered a sandwich and a refreshing watermelon juice. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment as I took my first bite of the sandwich. It was just okay, lacking the flavor and freshness I had hoped for. Nevertheless, I remained optimistic as I eagerly reached for the watermelon juice, expecting a burst of sweetness to accompany my meal. To my dismay, the watermelon juice was far from satisfying. Not only was it not cold as I had anticipated, but it also lacked the sweetness that is characteristic of ripe watermelons. It seemed as though no sugar had been added to enhance the flavor, leaving me with a bland and underwhelming beverage. Determined to salvage my dining experience, I approached the staff to voice my concerns. After expressing my dissatisfaction with both the sandwich and the juice, they kindly offered to replace the watermelon juice with grape juice. However, I was taken aback when I was informed that I would be charged an additional 20 rupees for the substitution. Despite my reservations, I reluctantly accepted the offer, hoping that the grape juice would provide the refreshing burst of flavor I had been craving. While the grape juice was indeed more enjoyable than its watermelon counterpart, the added cost left a sour taste in my mouth. Leaving Lakshmi Bakery, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the lackluster experience. Though the staff's attempt to rectify the situation was appreciated, the overall quality of the food and the unexpected additional charge left much to be desired. Perhaps next time, I'll think twice before returning to Lakshmi Bakery in search of a satisfying meal.
