Both Eglise de Notre Dame des Anges and La Villa are recommended for visiting. If you have never tasted Italian cuisine, you should reserve a table and try the menu at this bar. Tasty coconut chicken, fried prawns and smoked fish will impress you at the first bite. Good chocolate custard, panna cotta and mango dessert have a nice taste. You will be offered delicious wine. Great coffee is worth a try here.
Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. The success of La Villa wouldn't be possible without the hospitable staff. Prompt service is something visitors appreciate here. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, prices are attractive. It's usually good to experience something new and enjoy the quiet ambiance.

We had 7 course French tasting dinner at La Villa during our visit to Pondicherry and I must say it was the best experience and food we had. The chef personalised as per our food choices since we had prior booked and made it so personal and exquisite. The pace at which all the courses were served was commendable. Special mention to Chef Shiva and Pooja along with Ramesh and Lupin who explained each and every dish. Thanks team for a beautiful experience and mouth watering meal. You have raised the bar and now I will look forward to having more and better gastronomical experiences across different places. Kudos to the team.

La Villa's seven-course tasting menu is a revelation. The courteous staff explained every course to us and we had the pleasure of meeting the Chef who explained his passion for sourcing local ingredients and changing the menu every 7-10 days.This is certainty not food that everyone will enjoy but this is truly one of Pondy's gems. If you want something unique, with resonance, and great flavours, this restaurant has to be on your list. La Villa sets itself apart by not pandering it's standards. This is a fine-dining experience that I will remember for a long long time.
