Went with high hopes but left disappointed. The only authentic Japanese element was the way the menu was printed. The place is too congested. Even in a real Izakaya, they wouldn’t make you sit on a cramped partial upper floor. The seatings are so uncomfortable in the upper space. The miso soup was just okay, not at all authentic. The pork skewers had barely any meat—mostly pork fat and green onions. A waste of money. The onigiri was okay, you can skip it. The Kuuraku Ramen was tasty, though! The staff were welcoming and the foyer is impressive. There are definitely better Japanese restaurants out there. This one is easily avoidable.
