Vegetarian cuisine under the direction of the talented chef is wonderful here. Guests may have good sambar, biryani and green curry at this restaurant. You will be offered tasty payasam. Based on the visitors' opinions, waiters offer good bitter. Great tea is among the tastiest drinks to order.
The hospitable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Service at Kuttanad Restaurant is something one can name cool. Adequate prices are what you will pay for your meal. The food is not at all like kerala authentic style... Still the staffs give very rude attitude for cleaning table and serving food... I really didn't like the ambience and the taste of food... It's really not that hygienic... The staffs are behaving like owners of the restaurant... For serving food they will take forever time as if it will taste better... Such a disgusting behaviour from restaurant manager... I will never visit this place again if world is ending also... My swiggy order was Thalassery Dum Chicken Biriyani, i was totally disappointed with my first order itself, there was no chicken pieces but instead there was 2 big bones with out any meat on it. Rice was not good. Biriyani doesnt have any taste and completely a waste of money. Accompaniments which was, salad & pickle was of worst quality. Any body who tried once will not go again, that much pathetic quality. I stopped with my single order itself, will not do this mistake again. They dont know how to prepare Thalassery Dum Biriyani, it is true from my experience. Food: 1

I recently revisited Kuttanad Restaurant after a long break and found that while the setup has changed and looks quite decent, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. We went for lunch on a busy Sunday noon, and although the place was crowded, we were promptly seated after a brief 10-15 minute wait. However, the meal itself was a letdown. The taste of the vegetarian meals had changed drastically from what I remembered. Kuttanad used to be renowned for its delicious Kerala cuisine, but it seems that with increased business and profit, the quality of the food has suffered. This was particularly disappointing, as many patrons, including myself, come here craving authentic and flavorful Kerala dishes. Other items we tried were just okay—nothing stood out as exceptional or worth a second visit. It’s unfortunate to see a place with such potential fall short in delivering the taste that once made it a favorite. I hope the management takes this feedback to heart and works on restoring the quality that originally set Kuttanad apart.
