Visited Kukoo in Kalyani Nagar, located bang opposite Tonique—brightly lit and hard to miss. We dropped in mainly because of strong reviews for the Mutton Pepper Fry, and it absolutely lived up to the hype—flavorful, well-cooked, and easily the highlight of the meal. The drinks were interesting and well-made, a little different from the usual, which was a pleasant surprise. The entire place has a distinct lemongrass aroma and rustic furniture, giving it a unique, earthy vibe. Service was fast, and we got seated immediately with no wait. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. One downside, though: while the restrooms also carried the lemongrass fragrance, we did notice a few cockroaches, which was disappointing and something the management should address promptly. Overall: Great food (especially the mutton), quick service, and a distinctive ambience make Kukoo worth a visit—but improved hygiene would elevate the experience further.
