During our recent Rajasthan visit, with wife and kid, we had booked Kotra Haveli hotel room, in Udaipur, for 3 nights stay. ( Room no 304, dt 20 -23, March ) This hotel is centrally located in old city, and most of the tourist interest places are at very much walkable distance. The front desk manager, Miss Deeksha, is a very active and helping lady. She allotted a beautiful room. The waiting room for guests is very nicely maintained. We had gone with high expectations and the room didn't disappoint us. Very spacious with marble flooring and neatly arranged antique type furnitures will mesmerise anyone. Attached restroom is also neatly planned and all bathing facilities, including fresh bath towels, shampoos, hair drier etc are provided. Hot water available 24 hours. The staff is of very helping nature. All our requirements / needs were handled on top priorities. Varieties of plants and pots arranged in common areas add to the beauty of haveli. Roof Top Restaurent : Beautiful, with matching flooring and furnitures. The food served here met our expectations. Master chef, Mr Praveen kaka, will not disappoint the guests with his preparations. He personally interacts with guests and is of very kind nature. Also, I should mention that our waiter Mr Roopsingh, with smiling and customer friendly nature, will be very attentive and eager to meet with all needs of guests. City palace view, while dining, is magical at night. We had excellent taste and quality food here in the inhouse restaurant. This restaurant a must-visit for anyone seeking a blend of great food and a mesmerizing view. Only drawback is the approche to the hotel. Because of narrow roads, guests can't take their cars to the hote. This is a common problem faced by all properties in the old city area. Along with all tourist attractions in Udaipur, Kotra Haveli also plays a vital role in making our Udaipur trip a memorable one. Many foreign tourists prefer this place for their stay. I stayed with my family from 14th - 16th December’2024. The rooms are absolutely clean and tidy. Everything was well organized by Deeksha and Rahul. You call anytime and will be responded with complete information. The view from restaurant is amazing. The food taste is also decent. The location is in old city and therefore most of the prominent places are almost at the walking distance and one would be able to enjoy the old city vibe fully. It’s a strongly recommended property.
