This is very authentic place, we came in for simple tea & vada pav and were truly surprised by quality of both, specially vada pav freshly made and didn't feel like it had soda or any other those unnecessary stuff, just pure, simple authentic vada pav. remember for such nice thing it takes time, so have patients. their offering is very nice, menu has some very interesting things not seen anywhere. definitely must go with friends or family. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Marathi mornings done almost right! Headed here for breakfast recently and this place is truly and authentically Maharashtrian. Right from the ambience to the nostalgic Marathi music they play to the hammered steel crockery, everything is quintessential Maharashtrian. And of course, the food tops this list as you can imagine. The food overall was a mixed bag – detailed dish wise review coming up. The service was super quick and fresh. The waitress (Sanchita) serving us was prompt, pleasant and attentive. Place is clean, parking is available on the street but I would imagine it might get pretty difficult during peak hours. What we ordered and rating each dish: 1. Kokum Sharbat – 4.5 out of 5 – The taste was actually phenomenal but deducting half a star as it was not cold and ice wasn’t readily available that time of the day 2. Nimbu Paani – 5 on 5 – superb balance of flavors and chilled to perfection 3. Besan Laddoo – 5 on 5 – this is not a standard on their menu but we were lucky since it was right after Diwali, so this was available as part of their special Diwali faral menu. The laddoo’s are as “gharghuti” as it gets. Mind blowing-ly tasty, couldn’t get enough. We loved it so much, we packed half a dozen for home as well 4. Kolhapuri Misal – 4 on 5 – Very tasty and spicy as it needs to be. However, did seem a tad bit flat – have had better missal. Don’t get me wrong- this wasn’t bad at all but have had better is all 5. Starter Platter – 4 on 5 – This is a brilliant idea for a menu btw – mini sizes and 2 pieces each of their snacks – aloo vadi, batata vada, kothimbir vada, veg cutlet, kanda bhaji, batata bhaji and patti samosa. The bhajis, batata vada, cutlet and aloo vadi were mind-blowing! The kothimbir vada and patti samosa though were strictly ok. In fact did not quite fully understand the flavor they were trying to go for with the patti samosa. 6. Poori Bhaji – 3 on 5 – A strict ok from me. The poori was amazing but the bhaji fell flat. Again not bad, but not as flavorful as the other things 7. Sabudana vada – 4 on 5 – Flavor was awesome, just felt like it could have been crispier. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹600–800 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking

This place is sooo soo good.. they serve authentic Maharashtrian cuisine and the taste is so delicious.. you'll drool over the ukadichya modhak..and trust me you'll not stop at 1. Highly recommend Khavayye to everyone looking for pure veg Marathi meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600
