Restaurant located at Karimpanal Statue Avenue at the basement floor. AC and Non-Ac dining halls are present, which can accommodate around fifty people each. AC dining hall was found to be a little cramped due to more number of tables. Clean and well maintained facilities even though looks a little old. Separate wash area for ladies and gents. Indian sanitaryware inside the toilet is a little unsafe for the elderly and kids. Courteous staff. Tasty food at a reasonable rate. Around eight cars can be parked in front of the building which is shared with other shops in the same building Kanji (rice porridge ) is available for supper. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Needs a refresh badly. Food is tasty and well prepared but .. flies!! Although better than some of the other traditional hotels nearby, the sight of flies hovering around even inside the air conditioned section is a serious turn off. Yes, the regular sarkaari customers may not mind but for others it could make a bad impression. But yes they do have a wide variety of traditional dishes and the chicken biriyani is very tasty. Parking: A Parking area is available right behind the hotel premises. We as a team of residential assosiation members from Alakode Kannur visited this place on Dec 1st 2024. Every one ofthe 49 member strong group was happy and satisfied with the food and overal hospitality of the restaurant. Anyone liking the traditional central travancore style vegetarian sadya will defenitely be happy with Kerala House Restaurant near Statue jn. A boli with palpaysam is perfectly an icing on the cake considering it is in Thiruvananthapuram. Boli and payasam is a well known sweet dish of the capital city of Kerala. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
