I recently visited Katakirrr Misal in Pimple Gurav, a place I once truly admired for its authentic Puneri misal taste. During my first few visits, this outlet was one of the best spots to enjoy spicy, flavorful misal in the area. However, my recent experience was quite disappointing and far from what it used to be. Firstly, the cleanliness of the place has gone down noticeably. Tables were not properly cleaned, and the overall hygiene level didn’t match the restaurant’s earlier standards. Secondly, the service has become very poor. The staff seemed careless and unbothered, showing no interest in customer satisfaction. Even after calling them multiple times, they were inattentive and casual in their behavior. It’s really disheartening to see such a reputed name losing its charm because of poor maintenance and untrained staff. As Punekars, we have a deep love and pride for our misal pav culture, and Katakirrr has always been a big part of it. I genuinely hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and pays attention to improving the service quality and hygiene. With a little focus and training, this place can easily regain its earlier glory. I truly wish to see Katakirrr Pimple Gurav once again become the go-to destination for Puneri misal lovers, just like it used to be.
