At this place you can order Indian and Vegetarian cuisines. The truth is that you will really like perfectly cooked khichdi, spiced rice and raita. That's a good idea to order tasty ice cream sundaes, yogurt and gulab jamun. Enjoy delicious indian wine or good bitter. Great masala chai, fruit juice or tomato juice will make your meal even more delicious and you'll certainly come back.

The atmosphere of hospitality of this restaurant highly depends on the service staff, that is cheerful here. Service at Karnataka Food Centre is something one can name fine. Prices are found reasonable here. You will appreciate the nice decor and pretty ambiance of this place. Based on the users' feedback on Google, this spot deserved 4.4.

Must try Mysore Masala Dosa! This place serves real Karnataka-style food (pure vegetarian) that tastes just like what you get in Bangalore/ Mysore. The ambience is simple and basic, just like the small tiffin centres you find in South India — nothing fancy, but full of homely vibes. We tried Rawa Onion Dosa (5/5), Mysore Masala Dosa (5/5), Mysore Plain Dosa (5/5), Onion Masala Dosa (3/5), Rawa Kesari (5/5), Filter Coffee (5/5), Chocolate Milkshake (4/5), and Hot Chocolate Fudge Sundae (5/5). The best dish was the Mysore Masala Dosa — it reminded me of the one I had in Mysore and tasted just as amazing. It’s a must-try! The only letdown was the Onion Masala Dosa, which was a bit undercooked and turned out soggy. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy simple, delicious South Indian food that gives you the real taste of Karnataka Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

Nestled on Rao Tula Ram Marg inside the Karnataka Sangha building, the restaurant’s bright, canteen-style décor feels welcoming and unpretentious. Wooden tables and chairs are neatly arranged in an indoor, family-friendly space. Even during peak hours you’ll find the place buzzing with South Indian food lovers—on weekends you may share a table with strangers, but the friendly atmosphere more than makes up for it . 2. Service Speed: Super-fast service—even a full house rarely means a long wait for your order . Staff: Attentive and courteous; they’ll happily explain regional specialties if you ask. Refills & Takeaway: Unlimited chutney and sambhar refills, plus smooth takeaway options. 3. Menu Variety Although best known for Karnataka specialties, you’ll find a pan-South offering: Dosas & Uttapams: Plain, masala, ghee/butter masala, Mysore masala, and even Coconut Rava dosa. Tiffin Thali: A generous platter of idli, vada, upma, chutneys, and sambhar. Breakfast & Beyond: Bisi Bele Bath, pongal, curd rice, filter coffee, lassi, buttermilk, and traditional sweets like Mysore Pak . 4. Food Quality & Taste Crispiness: Dosas emerge piping hot with perfectly crisp edges and a soft interior. Flavors: The Mysore masala dosa had a balanced heat from red chutney paste; the Coconut Rava dosa was laced with coconut aroma and mild spices—“out of this world,” as one food guide put it . Authenticity: Recipes seem true to home-style Karnataka cooking, bringing that nostalgia of homemade meals . 5. Portion Sizes & Value Portions are generous—one large dosa easily satisfies a hearty appetite. At roughly ₹500 for two (including coffee/dessert), this spot offers excellent bang for your buck . 6. Hygiene & Cleanliness Tables and floors were clean. The open-kitchen vibe lets you glimpse the dosa-tawa action, reinforcing confidence in food preparation. Overall Impression: Karnataka Food Centre delivers on every front—swift, friendly service; high-quality, authentic South Indian fare; hearty portions; and wallet-friendly pricing. Whether you’re craving a classic masala dosa or exploring lesser-known Karnataka specialties, this decades-old gem in R.K. Puram is a must-visit for dosa devotees and South Indian cuisine enthusiasts alike.
