If you’re looking for an authentic Arabic dining experience in Bangalore, Karama Restaurant on Mosque Road, Frazer Town is definitely worth visiting. The ambience instantly transports you to the Middle East — from the decor to the vibe, it feels like you’re sitting in a cozy restaurant somewhere in Dubai or Jeddah. We tried quite a variety of dishes: Salt Chicken, Haleem, Arabian Mutton Seekh, Adana Kebab with Rice, Arabian Chicken Shish Tawook, Mango Mastani, Mango Malba, and some veg items as well. Most of the food was absolutely delicious. The Arabian Mutton Seekh was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the mango-based desserts were a standout — refreshing and rich in taste. However, the Salt Chicken and Adana Kebab with Rice were a letdown. Both lacked flavor and unfortunately had a strong unpleasant smell. That said, the veg items surprisingly turned out to be very tasty — clearly, they pay attention to both meat and vegetarian dishes. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity offered. Overall, despite a couple of misses, it’s a great spot for a family dinner or outing with friends. Would definitely go back to try more of their menu!
