Kalu Ram Chat Bhandar Jaipur's best and oldest gol Gappa shop is in Chandpole. You will need Google Maps to find this place. Also I will prefer to go in 2 wheelers rather than a car, as the road is narrow and it will be bit difficult. So this shop has the best Gol Gappe I ever had. Also they serve chaat like papdi chaat, aloo tikki etc at the minimal rate. They make the tastiest chaat I ever had in Jaipur. Since this place is oldest, your father may know the place, and may suggest you as well. All those who has come to visit Jaipur, you may find some difficulty in finding the shop but its worth it.
