This restaurant provides you with nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Shibananda Dham. At Kalapata, order good prawns, mango chicken and fried vegetables. Tasting tasty kulfi is what a number of clients recommend.
Food delivery is a big plus of this place. The efficient staff meets you at this spot all year round. The fast service is something these restaurateurs care about. Have tried different Bengali dishes here and very much pleased with the taste. Dishes are always fresh and they served all the food hot. If you want to have fresh homely Bengali dishes in South Kolkata with a very reasonable price, just go for it

Food is of average quality. Serving staff were more interested and busy towards the guests who were ordering expensive menus while ignoring other average priced food ordering guests. This is not fair behaviour of a restaurant. Very small uncomfortable space. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Went to have lunch at Kalapata. You can call it a Standard Pice Hotel. Took Mutton Meal priced at ₹400. Taste was fairly good. But I felt the price was expensive according to the items they served. Should have been at least two vegetable curry items in the thali. Mutton Curry was tasty, soft and well cooked. Service and management were extremely poor and unprofessional. The stuffs were not expert and active enough to serve food and cleaning on time. I had to wait to get a seat even beside an empty table for like 10mins. Even I ordered Aam Panna to quench my thirst but later they completely forgotten. I was so dissatisfied so I couldn’t feel like reminding them. Ambience was okay. Overall experience was Average. Other pice hotels provide far better service than this one.
