Kajal's is a vegetarian restaurant located on Velachery Main Road in Chennai, specializing in North Indian street food. The establishment operates daily from 4 PM to 11 PM and offers a budget-friendly dining experience. The menu features a variety of quick eats and thalis, which include phulkas and rotating side dishes for dinner. It remains popular for its samosas, while some patrons have critiqued the paneer Frankie and Gobi Manchurian.
Situated conveniently outside the Nilgiris Department Store, Kajal's affords diners a convenient spot for a casual meal. Offering half or full portions of side dishes, it provides adaptability for different appetites. Although there are some positive notes on certain items like dhokla and vegetable rolls, customer impressions have been mixed.
Notably, reviews suggest that the restaurant offered value for money with strong opinions on both ends of the satisfaction spectrum. With the latest review dating back four years, there's limited recent information regarding any updates or changes in the menu or service. Guests looking to explore Kajal’s should approach the dining experience with an open mind, bearing in mind the absence of current feedback on its offerings.
