We went there for a meaty lunch today. Located on East Street one floor above ground level, seating almost 40 with a squeaky clean washroom, the restaurant is a hidden gem, is unpretentious but packs a punch both in terms of Parsi authentic food as well as excellent service. The menu is a clear and simple one pager. All of the dishes were superb, cooked as if we had cooked at our own home but superbly tasty. The mutton was so well cooked that as soon as we pointed the spoon at the pieces, the mutton would obediently come off to almost melt in our mouth. The kababs were very tasty, real kababs without besan or bread crumbs that mask the real taste of meat. The piece de resistance was the Dahi n Sev desert doing a jugalbandi in our mouths. Highly recommended. Oh, btw they even have a motorised chair to eliminate climbing the steps if you so require. I visited the kings Persian bistro while roaming around camp. The food service was really good and the place gave a cozy vibe , i got to experience authentic parsi and persian cuisine and culture. King’s Resto Bar located at the Camp Area in Pune is a quaint place. This is placed on the first floor of the building and has a decent ambience. The walls are painted in white and with warm lights giving out a calm vibe. The seating area is small and yet comforting with attentive staff and the service is good. This place is well known for its Parsi cuisine which is scrumptious. The Salli Boti and Patra Ni Machhi are something you must try. The food exhibits sheer authenticity. The Lagan nu Custard makes a perfect dessert after your meal. King’s Resto Bar is a place with scrumptious Parsi food you must visit for a pleasing dining experience.
