A lot of reviewers point out that you can have perfectly cooked chicken biryani here. Unfortunately, the staff is cheerful as many guests mention. Facebook users' reviews don't give this restaurant a high rating.

A fatafat pic taken as we were very hungry. ????
There was a time when we lived at East Street and often frequented George Restaurant, or ordered in. I haven't stepped in there, or ordered in, for over a decade. When masi (recently visiting India) mentioned that the Mutton Biryani she had there was fabulous, i simply had to give it a try.
I ordered 2 portions of Mutton Biryani (ek se humara kya hota ????). Of course, there were special instructions mentioned... no coriander garnish, add potatoes to the biryani, ensure mutton and potatoes are tender and lastly, pack both portions separately. ???? I also called the restaurant and spoke to a very polite, well-mannered gentleman who confirmed that he had received my order and reassured me that all special instructions had been read and would be complied with. He was, indeed, a man of his word! The order was executed perfectly!
The aroma of biryani permeated the entire house as soon as i opened the first packet. The quality and quantity of rice and mutton was superb! They did add one piece of potato - just one. ☹ They need to add at least 3 to 4 pieces when specially requested. Im a Parsi Bawi, we love potatoes in our Biryanis. *George Restaurant, i hope you are reading this* ????
I usually order Biryani only from homechefs. Rarely, very rarely, do i order Biryani from restaurants. They're usually a letdown. The Mutton Biryani from George, though, was an order I did not regret at all. Not overly spicy, not overly oily; it was perfect! The fragrant biryani rice and the marinated mutton came together ever so harmoniously as a morsel. Lipsmackingly good and so darn moreish! ????
If you haven't tried the Mutton Biryani (emphasis on MUTTON) from @george_restaurant_pune , do so immediately. You'll love it!
The order was smoothly & professionally delivered via @swiggyindia - no complaints there.
The Mutton Biryani cost 370 per portion. I used a Swiggy coupon and the final amount paid was 712 plus tip. Total VFM meal & deal this!
