Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Behaviour at KFC VR Mall After watching a four-hour movie from 6 PM to 10 PM, I went to the mall food court feeling extremely hungry. There was no crowd at the KFC counter — only one customer ahead of us, who had already placed his order. Despite this, only one staff member was handling both order-taking and packing, even though several other staff members were present. After completing one order, the staff member took nearly 10 minutes to attend to the next customer in VR mall , which most of the time stay empty. Since there was no rush and only one customer behind us, I asked him if he could take our order. He finally did so and we ordered three crispy chicken pieces. While packing the order, he gave us only two ketchup sachets. I politely requested one extra sachet. While reaching into the ketchup box, he responded with visible anger, an unpleasant facial expression, and an aggressive tone, saying, “Company policy allows only this much.” His behaviour felt rude and intimidating, which I found completely unnecessary and uncomfortable. I calmly asked how the company policy allows five chicken pieces with two ketchup sachets, and why a simple request was being met with such attitude. Instead of responding professionally, the staff member raised his voice at me, forcing me to raise my voice in return to defend myself. When the manager intervened, he explained that the policy is one ketchup sachet per chicken piece. This further raised my concern — if the policy is indeed one sachet per chicken, then for three pieces I should have received three sachets, not two. My request was completely legitimate. What disturbed me most was not the ketchup itself, but the staff member’s aggressive attitude, lack of professionalism, and hostile behaviour, especially towards a female customer making a reasonable request. I expect better customer handling, respectful communication, and consistent adherence to your own stated policies. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and appropriate action or training is provided to ensure such incidents do not repeat. P.S. I am genuinely shocked that an employee in a service-based business felt comfortable telling a customer to “shut up.” How is this acceptable in customer service? This crossed a basic line of decency and should never happen anywhere, let alone in a brand like KFC. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400
