Subject: Complaint Regarding Unjust Service Charge and Poor Dining Experience Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding my recent visit to Joshi House Restaurant located at Worli. During my visit, I was charged a service fee of ₹230. As per my understanding of recent regulations, levying service charges without customer consent is not mandatory and may be considered inappropriate. I request clarification on the same. Additionally, the overall dining experience was disappointing. The food served was excessively salty and did not meet the expectations created by the restaurant’s reputation. The pricing appeared disproportionately high considering the limited menu options and inadequate portion sizes. Despite visiting during lunch hours, the staff seemed to be in undue haste. Before we had even indicated that we had completed our meal, staff members repeatedly approached the table and began clearing items while we were still eating, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I request you to kindly review these concerns and take appropriate action to ensure better service standards in the future. Looking forward to your response.
