After a long walk around Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), come to this restaurant and have a rest here. If you have never come across Indian cuisine, you should order a table and try the menu at Jawahar Hotel. Here you will be offered nicely cooked nihari, chicken biryani and chicken roti.

This is honestly the worst chicken biryani I’ve ever had in my life no flavor, no taste, and nothing good to mention. You’d be better off eating anywhere else. Pathetic experience. The biryani was completely tasteless, too oily served with just a single piece of chicken, no gravy, and not even raita. They charge ₹290 for half, which is absolutely not worth it. The only good thing is the decent seating, otherwise it’s better to avoid this place completely. just another overhyped place. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: ₹400–600

Visited Jawahar Hotel in Jama Masjid and had an excellent experience. The food was rich in authentic flavors, especially the kebabs and biryani which were perfectly cooked and full of aroma. The portion sizes were satisfying and the service was warm and welcoming. The overall vibe of the place truly reflects old Delhi’s charm. Definitely a must-visit spot for anyone who loves traditional Mughlai taste. Highly recommended!
