Went here on Thursday, 19th June for a quick coffee. First impressions were underwhelming. No one greeted us or offered water, which we weren’t served until the end of our meal. I had to walk up to the counter myself to ask for menus, which is far from the service one expects at a Marriott property. We tried the Vegan Mango Shake and the Mango Cinnamon Sandstorm. Both drinks were quite nice and refreshing. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. We ordered the Signature JBC Pizza, which was served without the rocket leaves, an essential topping. No one informed us that it was unavailable. It was only when I raised the issue while settling the bill that the chef came out and casually mentioned they’d run out of it. For a place that prides itself on being part of a luxury hotel, this level of communication and attentiveness is just not acceptable. The whole experience felt like a missed opportunity and frankly, a waste.
