Iyengar’s Samayal is a good place to try South Indian food in Rishikesh. I visited in the early morning, and at that time, they were only serving Vadas and Idlis. I tried their Idli, which cost ₹50, and it was definitely worth it. I was a bit disappointed that they weren’t serving Dosas at that time, but I’m looking forward to trying them soon. Once I’ve tasted the Dosa, I’ll update my rating to five stars. Until then, I highly recommend this place for anyone craving South Indian food in Rishikesh! Small cafe serving dosa , idli, vada/dal vada and uttapam We tried Dosa/idli and vada - all was good Prices are reasonable, just had problems with crowd Sometimes (was difficult to have a seat) and also u should have cash without change or pay through paytm, cards not accepted Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Idli Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

Waaaaahhh... Is the feeling you get while eating at a place like Iyengars Samayal. Authentic south Indian food that you will find in Rishikesh. Kishore amd his team is equally amazing. I highly, I highly recommend this amazing place to eat. MUST go if you are craving for south indoan food. LOVED IT Cheers
